What's resume tuning?

Think of it this way.  Webster's Dictionary says:

"tun.ing" -verb: Adjusting.for.the.Maximum.Response

Our resume tuning approach has evolved over 10 years of presenting resumes to hiring managers.  We've seen what works, what doesn't and listened to hiring managers' needs and concerns.  Our approach focuses on two components:

Our process is direct and streamlined: we work entirely with your current resume; if any key components are missing, you simply provide the info by email. We then deliver a completely integrated and polished resume, which is ready to send out immediately (any necessary revisions are free). How long will it take to get my resume back?

Depending on volume, we can usually deliver resumes to you in about 3 business days after receipt of any additional information needed from you.. Rush options are available. Of course, there's an additional charge for this express service but it may be worth it if a job opportunity is waiting. We do understand how anxious you are to get your completed resume and are dedicated to meeting your deadline. You can always check in with Customer Care to review status or to let us know if a job opening has appeared and you need rush assistance.   <top>

 

How do the free resume evals work?

It's pretty simple. Click on our Free Resume Eval link and set up an appointment to speak with an experienced IT Resume Coach. We'll give you an honest review of how your resume stacks up. And we talk to IT hiring managers all the time, so our focus is based on current knowledge of today's IT market and what it really takes to get the job.    <top>

Resume Posting

Where will TunaRez  post my resume?

TunaRez can post your resume to nearly 90 job boards and career web sites.  You determine which categories are best for you.  Click here for the list of sites.     <top>

How long will it take for my resume to be posted?

It usually takes about 72 hours for your resume and career information to be posted to the selected sites.  Some sites post to 3rd party web sites but we can't control how quickly that's accomplished.      <top>

How will I know that my information has been posted?

We'll send you a confirmation report that includes all you need to know to access your account on each web site.  We'll create your account with exactly the log on information you provided us.  Additionally, some sites will send you independent confirmations that your resume and information have been posted.       <top>

Job Search/Interview Coaching

How does it work?

It couldn't be easier.   Just a few simple steps.
  1. Schedule a Session.  Call Tollfree 1-866-289-6994 to set up a session.  

  2. Send Us a Simple Profile & Resume. When we email your confirmation, we'll ask you to answer a few basic profile questions. (It will only take a few minutes but saves valuable session time by getting some of the basics out of the way). Send us your completed profile AND your current resume if we don't already have it on file.  

  3. Enjoy the Session.   Your coach will call you at the session time and the phone number you provided. Your FastForward program will be tuned just for you based on your profile and specific needs. The coach will review the basic agenda with you, get to know you and focus on those areas that will most benefit you. Remember, you can ask any questions you need to get the most value from your session.

  4. Get Going on Your Game Plan.  Throughout your coaching session, you and your coach will be targeting the strategies and activities that will best work for you. This will be detailed in a personalized Game Plan emailed to you following your session (so you can focus on getting the most from your session, instead of writing furiously to record everything).   <top>

Do I have to pay for the long distance phone call?

Not to worry, we'll call you. But don't trust your precious session to a cell phone. And make sure that portable phone is all charged up.   <top>
