How Our Resume Rewrite Works

No need to schedule an appointment, we make it easy by working with you via email. (Our clients love this feature.) Though rarely necessary, you may purchase a 1-on-1 session with your editor for a nominal fee.

1 -- Resume Analysis. Your editor will review your resume along with any feedback from your Resume Coach if your resume was evaluated by TunaRez. If necessary, we may email you requesting additional information to include in your new resume - typically this includes a little more detail and identification of accomplishments for your job descriptions. Remember, we're the editors so there's no need to worry about wordsmithing. We're just looking for the raw content here. Usually it's the kind of information that easily comes to mind -- our examples also help to stimulate the thought process. (If this presents a challenge for you -- too busy, etc -- just let us know. We'll move forward with the resume and we can add any additional content you want after you receive the first draft.)

2 -- 1st Draft. When you receive your new resume we consider it a first draft, but it will be of a quality you could present to any employer with confidence. Simply let us know if you need any revisions.

3 -- Revision Process. There are no limits to the number of revisions -- though most of our clients only need 1 or 2 minor ones. We consider ourselves active participants in your job search success so we'll answer any questions about your new resume and also tell you honestly from our experience if requested changes are positive or detrimental (and why).

4 -- Text Resume. Once you've approved your final resume, we create a text version to be used for online posting and other situations where an MS-Word version won't work. (FYI, simply saving a document as a text file doesn't provide the format conversion necessary for a strong text-based presentation.)

5 -- Cover Letter. If you've ordered a cover letter, we will construct a custom cover letter to complement your resume. As with the resume, you may request revisions.

How Our Resume Posting Service Works

1 -- Access the System. Once you've given final approval of your resume, we will provide you access to our posting service. You'll receive an email with access directions and a personal PIN to gain entry to the system.

2 -- Creating Your Profile. The process is very simple. You complete one profile as you would on any single job board. You should use the text version of your resume and cover letter for posting to the job boards.

3 - The Posting Process. When you're done, your resume will be posted automatically to each site within 72 hours. You specify the login/password and you can track the posting process interactively through your personal, real-time posting report.

Additional Features:

How Our Coaching Sessions Work

1 -- Scheduling Your Session. Our Scheduling Coordinator will send you an email to set up a date/time that will work for you. In addition to the normal business day, we have early morning and early evening appointments available. We'll also ask you to answer a few questions about your job search to help your Coach prepare for your session.

2 -- Reviewing the Prep Material. We'll email you an overview of the session, including detailed material covering Job Search and/or Interview techniques. Reviewing this material before your appointment will help you get the most from your session.

3 -- Working With Your Coach. Your Coach will call you for the session at the phone number you provide and with talk with you for approximately 1 hour (1/2 hour for Interview Prep Coaching). You and your Coach will determine the highest priority issues to be addressed to meet your specific goals.
